Terms and conditions
The agreement between you and us when you use AssetsManager.
Last updated August 29, 2026
The short version. Your records live on your device and belong to you. The app's estimates are estimates, not professional advice. Plus is a single purchase billed by your app store. These terms are written to match what the app actually does, and are pending professional legal review.
Who these terms are with
AssetsManager is made and operated by Info-Sphere Ireland Limited, a company registered in Ireland ("we", "us"). The app, its design, its artwork and its content are © 2026 Info-Sphere Ireland Limited, except where the credits below say otherwise.
You can reach us at support@info-sphere.ie, or through the feedback form in the app.
Your licence to use the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use AssetsManager on devices you own, for keeping track of your own things. The licence is revocable only where these terms are seriously breached.
You may not resell or redistribute the app, its catalogue or its reference data, or use them to build a competing dataset. If you install through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms also apply to the download itself.
Your data is yours
Everything you record — items, prices, photos, notes — is stored on your device. There are no accounts, and we hold no copy of your records, which also means we cannot restore them for you. The app's export makes a backup file you keep wherever you choose; keeping a current backup, and keeping it somewhere safe, is your responsibility. Deleting the app deletes the records on that device.
Accuracy of what the app shows
The app shows two kinds of numbers, and marks which is which. Figures you typed are shown as facts. Everything marked as an estimate — what an item might be worth, price indices, converted currency totals, example resale listings — is derived from models and published reference data, is provided for your own information only, and can change without notice.
An estimate is not a professional valuation and not financial, insurance or tax advice. Example listings are other sellers' asking prices, observed on public marketplaces at the date shown — not offers to buy your item. Do not rely on the app's figures for a decision with money at stake without checking them independently.
Payment
The free app is genuinely usable and stays free. AssetsManager Plus is a single one-time purchase — not a subscription — billed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play at the price the store shows at checkout. We never see or store your payment details.
Refunds follow the store's own process and policy — Apple's for App Store purchases, Google's for Google Play — not ours. Plus can be restored free on any device signed into the same store account.
Availability
The app is built to work offline: your records, totals and reminders live on the device and keep working with no connection and no server. Online features — refreshed reference data, exchange rates, downloadable 3D models, valuation tables — are provided as-is; we aim to keep them available but make no uptime promise, and they may change or be withdrawn.
Credits and third-party content
The app stands on published data, credited here:
- Exchange rates — the Frankfurter open API, based on European Central Bank reference rates, refreshed daily. Converted totals are marked approximate because reference rates are not live market rates.
- Resale examples — asking prices observed by hand on public marketplaces, each recorded with where and when it was seen. Nothing is scraped.
- Product names — trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify items people own. AssetsManager is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any manufacturer. The app's miniatures and 3D models are our own generic representations, not manufacturers' assets.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Irish law allows: the app is provided as-is, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and for anything else our total liability is capped at what you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing removes your statutory consumer rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep any protections your own country's law makes mandatory.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new "last updated" date; a material change is also announced in the app. Using the app after a change takes effect means the current terms apply.
