The fastest route is the app itself — Profile › Contact Us — because it sends your app version along with the message. Everything else comes to the same inbox.

Common problems

Most of it is answered here

I changed phone and lost everything

Your assets live only on the device, so unless you exported a backup first there is nothing to restore — we never had a copy. Profile › Data Import/Export makes a file you keep. Send it to the new phone and open it there: it opens straight into AssetsManager, which asks before importing anything. Or move directly: the transfer beam shows a code on the old phone that the new one reads with its camera.

I forgot my backup passphrase

There is nothing we can do, and we want to be straight with you about why. A locked backup is encrypted on your phone with a key made from the passphrase you typed. It is never sent to us and never stored anywhere, so there is no copy to look up and no reset to perform — that is what makes the file safe to email or leave in a cloud drive. If the phone that made it still works, export a fresh backup and either leave it unlocked or use a passphrase you will not lose.

I paid for the upgrade but it is not showing

Open the upgrade page and tap Restore a previous purchase. The upgrade belongs to the App Store or Google Play account that bought it, not to the handset, so make sure you are signed in with the account you bought it on. If it still does not appear, email us.

I want a refund

Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment, not by us — we never receive your card details. On iPhone use reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android use Google Play › Order history. Tell us as well if something in the app was at fault, so we can fix it.

Warranty reminders are not arriving

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone — no server involved. Check that notifications are allowed for AssetsManager in your phone's settings, and that the item actually has a warranty end date: the reminder is scheduled against that date, so an item without one has nothing to remind about.

A 3D model is missing, or an estimate looks wrong

No model for your thing? Its page has a request button — asking is how the catalogue grows, and a fix reaches everyone. An estimate you disagree with is even simpler: type what the item is really worth and your figure replaces the estimate everywhere. Anything else that looks wrong, tell us through Profile › Contact Us.

What to put in the email

None of it is required — a one-line description is genuinely useful. These just save a round trip.

  1. What you were doing when it went wrong.
  2. What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
  3. Your phone and OS version, and the app version from Settings › About.
